Hello, my name is Ion Coța, but all my friends know me as Johnny. I was born in Bucharest, Romania and I chose photography to become my language, because I felt that it is universal, the only filter you have to use is your own mind.
In 2008 I got in touch with digital photography after playing with my father's film camera all my childhood. Gradually I developed my knowledge in photography, and since 2010 I have been working as a professional photographer in various fields such as fashion, advertising and private events.
In 2014, I received two Mentions of the photography contest, "Magic Eye", a contest that aims to promote the city of Bucharest through the Official Album of the Municipality of Bucharest.
In 2016, the cultural NGO Arta nu Mușcă exhibited my works in Bucharest at Unirii Metro Station.I have worked with many singers, actors and public figures. Appearances in various online and printed publications, magazines such as: Luxury, 4×4 Adventure.ro, OKMagazine.ro and in the exclusive catalog of the first collection car gallery in Romania open to the public: Țiriac Collection.
